Vitruvian Man painting by Kascho
The original was painted by the Italian painter, sculptor, architect, anatomist, mechanic, engineer, and natural philosopher Leonardo da Vinci. Da Vinci is considered one of the most famous polymaths of all time. In his study "Vitruvian Man" Leonardo shows how interested he was in physique and proportions. To this day, the study is a symbol of aesthetics during the Renaissance. Kascho reinterprets the image. Proportions are no longer the focus of the painting, instead, feelings are expressed through intense colors.
