My name is Kascho. I am a self-taught artist living and working in Aachen. Ever since I was a child, I have enjoyed painting, although I never pursued a "traditional" art education. Instead, I completed a Master's degree in Psychology.

The decision to study psychology was not a choice against art. Even during my studies, I spent almost as much time behind the canvas as in the lecture halls. However, the influence of psychology on my portrait paintings is unmistakable, as human beings are the focal point of my artwork. I paint what is felt, not what is seen. My goal is by no means to create exact replicas of reality. What you see is not the external appearance of a person, but rather their individual personality.

 I seek the creative adventures. In the midst of the pandemic in 2020, I ventured into self-employment as an artist. Due to the contact restrictions, there was no activity in Aachen's red-light district. I utilized the vacant spaces to exhibit with other artists. This was followed by numerous group exhibitions in and around Aachen, including my first solo exhibitions.
